Injured Dog

Mac is healing
Mac is healing very well. He had some x-rays taken yesterday and he's on his way to being able to use his leg all the time. He will need more x-rays in three weeks.

Thank you to all who have donated to Mac!
Help Mac Walk: Surgery Update
Wow, it's been quite a roller coaster of a week. First off, a huge thank You to everyone that's contributed to Mac's fund so far and offered help.

Mac spent last week at the Blue Cross Pet Hospital in North Hollywood being taken care of. The staff there have been wonderful and fell in love with Mac. We brought him home on Friday. He was scared at first, but quickly warmed up and was snuggling with us and befriended our dog, Togi. He's sweet and his spirit is still strong.

Doctors were hopeful that Mac's leg would heal with just a splint, but further x-rays revealed the leg was broken in two spots and was far more severe than initially diagnosed.

Due to this, he's now facing surgery to put a plate and pins in his leg and pelvic area. Mac goes in for surgery and We're adjusting our goal to raise even more to help pay for Mac's pending surgery and hospital stay.
Help Mac Walk
Mac was found in the middle of the street, run over and badly injured. This one-year-old pup had no chip or tags, but clearly a will to survive as he pulled himself towards me in hopes of getting help.

A trip to the emergency vet revealed broken bones in his hind leg, pelvis and in his face. He's been at the vet ever since we found him and he's won over our hearts as well as everyone working at the vets' office.

The costs have been rising day-by-day, but it's our goal to get Mac back to full strength so he can run around and live a full, healthy life. All donations will be used to go to Mac's medical bills that are piling up.
